Advisory: The nationals of any country that have visited the People’s Republic of China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, and Japan on or after 01.02.2020 and have not yet entered India are informed that their visa is suspended with immediate effect. Those among the people mentioned above who have urgent reasons to visit India are requested to apply for a fresh visa by contacting the nearest Indian Embassy /Consulate.
Diplomats, officials of UN and other international bodies, OCI cardholders, and Aircrew that belong to the countries that are mentioned above do not stand to face these restrictions however, they are compelled for medical screening.
Any person belonging to India or any other country who is entering the territory of India is compelled to fill a self-declaration form, which includes personal particulars i.e. phone no. and address in India and the travel history and report it to the health and Immigration officials at all port.
Any passenger who is an Indian national or any foreign national who is arriving directly or indirectly from China, South Korea, Japan, Iran, Italy, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan are compelled to undergo medical screening at all ports.
